Informal photography during tours for personal use

Informal photography may ONLY be done for personal, non-commercial purposes using a cell phone, without flash, and during a paid tour.  (Flash is extremely damaging to the fine art and historic fabrics throughout the museum.) No photography may interfere with tour or other museum operations. We greatly appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Importantly, Friends of Hearthstone, Inc. does not relinquish any rights it may have to images of contents, interiors, exteriors, or any other aspects of the facility.

Professional photography / videography

Hearthstone can serve as a marvelous setting for a wide array of photography and videography shoots. Friends of Hearthstone, Inc. encourages photographers and videographers to consider using the museum and its grounds.

However, please note that regardless of circumstances and without exception, all photography not described above and all videography is STRICTLY PROHIBITED without a current event / use contract or separate photography / videography contact. This prohibition applies to the interiors of Hearthstone, the exterior of Hearthstone, and Hearthstone’s grounds.

Movie Location

Hearthstone and its staff have experience with local and Hollywood movie productions shot on-site. The museum can assist with room selection, artifact handling, extra wrangling, tables and seating for craft services and catering, and a host of other on-site duties.
