Relax in Victorian splendor while you stroll the veranda with a lemonade or mint julep in hand while listening to performances on our 1875 square grand piano. Ladies are encouraged to wear their best Kentucky Derby-style hat as beautiful hats were de rigueur for Victorian ladies. Of course, if you don’t have one, we will gladly supply one. Gents can sport their own bowler or boater or wear one of ours as well. Our docents will be dressed up too and playing the roles of the Rogers servants as they welcome you into the home while serving you lemonade, ice tea, or mint juleps. The evening is about slowing down the pace of life while being immersed in the lavish surrounding of our beautifully restored 1882 Queen Anne Style home.
